City of Savannah Community Partnership Program

Utilized a competitive process to purchase programs and services from local non-profit organizations. Programs must further the City’s achievement of Priority Areas of Focus: Good Government, Vibrant Neighborhoods, Health & Environment, Economic Strength/Poverty Reduction, Infrastructure Growth & Development, and Public Safety.

In a team of ten fellow professionals, we scored applications from organizations in the Savannah area who were looking for grant funding for their programs. I assessed and evaluated these applications.

Homelessness Assessment Survey

Created for non-profit organizations in the Savannah area to assess homelessness as well as target low-income residents in need of assistance. These surveys gave the department feedback on resources we could provide the community. Resources for rental and housing assistance were top on the list.

Request for Proposals (RFP) Benefits Navigator Program

This program gave non-profit organizations, charitable organizations or Community Development Corporations the opportunity to conduct extensive street level outreach to households in Savannah neighborhoods where residents have a high probability of being eligible for public benefits and other family supports while being fully grant funded by the City.
